Research on the Present Situation, Problems and Countermeasures of the Local Eco-Environmental Standards in Kunming

In order to understand the development status of local eco-environmental standards, this paper took Kunming city as an example and systematically studied the present situation of local eco-environment standards in Kunming, analyzed the existing problems, and put forward countermeasures and suggestions for the formulation and management of local eco-environmental standards. The results showed that local eco-environmental standards were useful supplement to the state eco-environmental standards, but the local eco-environmental standardization work started late, and had not formed a complete system. It was necessary to further strengthen the local ecoenvironment standardization work from the aspects of project approval, compilation, implementation, evaluation,and guarantee mechanism. This paper can provide a reference for the eco-environmental standardization work in other cities.
