The Applicability of Automatic Water Quality Monitoring in Jinjiang River Basin Analyzed by Spearman Rank Correlation Coefficient Method based on Water Quality Comprehensive Pollution Index
-
Abstract
Spearman rank correlation coefficient method based on water quality comprehensive pollution index was used to examine the applicability of the automatic monitoring data of water quality of four national controlled sections in Jinjiang River basin. The results showed that the automatic monitoring of water quality in the Jinjiang River basin has high applicability. It can accurately reflect the water quality status and change the trend of cross section. The applicability of automatic water quality monitoring in Jinjiang River basin was mainly related to the width of the water surface and the assessment target of the section, the smaller the width of the water surface, the lower the assessment target, the higher the applicability, and vice versa. The main pollutants in the Jinjiang River basin were the sections of dissolved oxygen, total phosphorus, and ammonia nitrogen, using automatic monitoring data for water quality evaluation can reduce the impact of accidental errors, and the evaluation results were more accurate and effective.
