Investigation on Soil Pollution and Its Cause on One Relocated Arsenic Smelting Enterprise Field in Wenshan Prefecture

Taking the relocation site of an arsenic smelting enterprise in Wenshan as an example,combined with the field layout plan and professional judgment method,the soil investigation and analysis were done. The results indicated that arsenic,zinc and antimony exceed the standard; volatility; Organic compounds and semi-volatile organic compounds were not within the limit in the soil samples of 7 sites,which were tested for 45 items,characteristic pollutants,and inorganic substances in zinc and antimony. The main source of pollution is the leftover of relocating the raw and auxiliary materials and waste residue storage.
