Abstract
In order to continuously improve air quality, based on the ambient air monitoring data of Chongqing Nan'an District from 2014 to 2023, this paper analyzed the inter-annual and annual distribution characteristics of AQI and the distribution characteristics of primary pollutants. Pearson correlation coefficient was used to analyze the correlation among pollutants. The study found that the air quality in the South Bank area showed a trend of fluctuating improvement in the past ten years, and the monthly pollution showed a "W"-shaped trend as a whole. The pollution days were mostly concentrated in winter and summer, and PM2.5 and O3 were the two pollutants that had the most serious impact on air quality. The correlation analysis of pollutants showed that in winter, the correlation between PM2.5 and PM10, NO2, SO2 and CO was strongly positive. In summer, the correlation coefficients of O3 and NO2 showed a strong positive correlation, and the correlation coefficients with PM10 and SO2 were between weak positive correlation and strong positive correlation. According to the research results, a series of coordinated prevention and control countermeasures were put forward, including strict control of key pollution sources, strengthening pollution weather response, improving prevention and control management system, and overall planning and development.
