Ecological Comprehensive Index Monitoring Model Based on “Pressure-State-Response”

This paper proposes an Ecological Comprehensive Index Monitoring(ECIM) model based on the Pressure-StateResponse(PSR) framework, taking into account the interactions between aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems as well as five factors including the surface and near-surface environments. The model was tested in a complex multimodal study area. The results indicate that, compared with the Remote Sensing Ecological Index(RSEI) and the Water Body Ecological Index(WBEI), the proposed ECIM model demonstrates superior capability in assessing ecological environment quality. Moreover, it is adaptable to environmental monitoring challenges in complex scenarios, showing significant potential for comprehensive ecological environment quality monitoring.
