Analysis of Water Quality Change and Pollution Causes of Panlong River

Through the evaluation of the water quality of 6 sections along the Panlong River, the results showed that the water quality in the upper reaches of the Wenshan urban area of the Panlong River remains excellent, and the water quality in the section from Wenshan urban area to the Dongfanghong Hydropower Station was inferior to Category V, which is severely polluted and exceeds the standard. The water quality gradually increased at the section of Tongchangpo Hydrological Station and met the Class III standard through its self-purification. The water quality at the board section of the Tianbao Farm remained stable and maintained Class II.
