Assessment of Carbon Stock of Ecological System of Jinan Based on InVest Model

  • Based on the law of land use change in Jinan from 2010 to 2020, the InVest model was used to estimate the carbon stock of Jinan's ecosystem, and the characteristics of carbon stock change in Jinan were analyzed. The results showed that Jinan's carbon stocks were about 194m tonnes in 2020, down 14m tonnes from 2010, mainly due to the shift of land use from arable land to urban land. The largest land use type of carbon storage was arable land, which showed a decreasing trend, while the carbon storage of ecological green land such as forests and grasslands showed an increasing trend, indicating that Jinan had achieved some success in greenization.
