Research Progress on Full-Quantity Treatment Technology of Landfill Leachate
-
Abstract
Currently, the treatment of landfill leachate from domestic waste in China generally employs the combined “biochemical + membrane” advanced treatment process, in which the membrane concentrate is recirculated to the landfill area. However, the long-term recirculation of concentrate leads to the accumulation of refractory organic matter, total dissolved solids, and salts in the leachate, rendering its treatment increasingly difficult. Consequently, the full-quantity treatment of landfill leachate has become an inevitable trend. This paper details the research progress and related application examples of full-quantity treatment technologies for landfill leachate. Furthermore, it compares the advantages, disadvantages, and treatment costs of the main technologies, providing a reference for the process selection and design of full-quantity leachate treatment in practical engineering applications.
