Engineering Design Practice of Industrial Park Wastewater Treatment Plant:A Case Study of a Wastewater Treatment Plant in an Industrial Park in Yunnan,China

The analysis of the influent water quality of an industrial park wastewater in Yunnan was conducted to determine the appropriate wastewater treatment process. The constructed wastewater treatment plant has been operating normally. During the design process, it was found that the design of the plant differs from that of a typical domestic wastewater treatment plant, mainly in terms of environmental protection measures such as sludge deodorization, groundwater monitoring wells, and accident tanks. By providing a detailed description of the process flow, building design, relevant design features, and important considerations, this study could serve as a reference for the construction of wastewater treatment plants in similar industrial parks.
