Application of Pollution Source Survey Results in Environmental Supervision

A comparison analysis was made between the results of pollution source survey twice every ten years, the analysis results on the number of enterprises, gross industrial output value, emissions of chemical oxygen demand (COD) and ammonia nitrogen showed that Kunming's industrial structure is still dominated by traditional chemical industry and non-ferrous metal processing industry. But the high energy consumption and high emission industries are slowing down and reducing, the technology intensive industries were significantly increased. The effective integration of statistical analysis based on the results of pollution source survey and environmental supervision has active significance on optimizing industrial structure, rationalization of industrial layout,improving the efficiency of environmental supervision,guiding the healthy development of environmental protection industry and improving the ability of environmental risk prevention.
