Study on Numerical Simulation of Negative Pressure Distribution in Collecting Structure of Aluminum Electrolytic Cell

Abstract
In this paper, the numerical simulation method was used to study the negative pressure distribution of the gas collecting structure of the electrolytic cell, which not only reduced the R&D cost, shortened the R&D cycle, and improved the R&D efficiency. By comparing with the actual operation data, it was found that the simulation results were very consistent with the actual operation data, and the deviation of each parameter was within ±8%. Therefore, the use of numerical simulation meant to carry out the electrolytic cell optimization and improvement had a very important significance.
