The Comparison of the Assessment Results of the Surface Water Quality of National Monitoring Sections in Kunming City during the Thirteenth Five-year Plan Period

Based on the annual average monitoring dataduring the Thirteenth Five-yearPlan period and monthly average monitoring data during 2019-2020 of national controlled surface water sections in Kunming,this research compared the evaluation result of water quality grade by"5 + X" Methodology and present 21-Items methodology.The comparison demonstrated that the evaluation result was scientific and representative,meanwhile presenting integrity and consistency with the evaluation result by 21-Items Methodology. In conclusion,the optimization and adjustment of evaluation methodologies would not impose negative impacts on the evaluation results of water quality of national controlled surface water sections in Kunming.
