Comparison and Analysis of Total Radioactivity Level of the River in Yunnan Province from 2013 to 2020

Abstract
The total radioactivity level objectively indicates the sum of total radioactivity in the water. The analysis of total radioactivity level would examine its variations and trends, which would help to provide the references for the water radiation evaluation and decision-making. The average values of total α radioactivity level in the rivers of Yunnan in a descending order were Nujiang River, Honghe River, Nanpanjiang River, Jinshajiang River, Lancangjiang River, and Ruilijiang River with the actual values of 0.071Bq/L, 0.069Bq/L, 0.060Bq/L, 0.049Bq/L, 0.045Bq/L, and 0.032Bq/L, respectively. The linear relationship of the total βradioactivity level was better than that of the total α radioactivity level according to the discrete data graph and regression analysis of many years. The degree of fitting was becoming better and better as the polynomial power increased. The total radioactivity level both in Jinshajiang River and Pearl River was little higher than the downstream. However, their values were within the range of the standard.
