Research on Optimization of Railway Noise Complaint Monitoring Method and Prevention Countermeasures

  • With the rapid development of railway and the advancement of urbanization process, railway noise has brought great negative impact on the residents' normal life along the line, directly or indirectly endangering the physical and mental health of surrounding people. It also has become an environmental problem and a hot topic of public concern, which cannot be ignored. Based on typical railway noise complaints, in order to fully understand the level and the law of railway noise pollution, in addition to the monitoring of the noise compliance of railway boundaries and sensitive points, 24-hour full-time noise law research and monitoring of the impact of switching windows on-and-off were carried out for the optimization of the sensitive points. Based on the monitoring results, measures and suggestions for railway noise pollution prevention and control were proposed from three aspects of noise source control, sound transmission path control, and sound point protection. It would provide reference for railway noise complaint monitoring and management, and further improve the satisfaction of residents along the line.
