Evaluation of the Safety of Arable Land in Guangxi from the Perspective of Quantity, Quality and Ecology

  • Taking Guangxi as an example, this paper combined the WSR methodology with the PSR model, and built the Guangxi arable land safety measurement system from the three aspects of quantity, quality and ecology, and then introduced the material element extension model for multidimensional evaluation. The results showed that most of the indicators contained in the personnel level and the personnel level had improved the safety level, which has made great contributions to the ecological safety of the arable land. The safety level of the most indicators in the physical layer has been reduced, which has a negative impact on the healthy development of arable land safety. From the overall point of view, the safety of cultivated land has achieved a transformation from "insecure" to "safe" from 2010 to 2021. However, several fundamental problems affecting the safety of cultivated land, such as land reclamation rate, per capita arable land area, and fertilizer load per unit of cultivated land, have yet to be solved. The Relevant departments should strengthen the supervision of the pollution of cultivated land due to excessive fertilization. The concept of fragmentation and intensive utilization of arable land needed to be propagandized to fundamentally improve the safety level of arable land in Guangxi.
