Analysis of the Radiation Level of Total α and β in the Water Body of Yunnan Province

The Radioactive activity of total α and β in the water body of Yunnan province was surveyed by monitoring the water samples. The radioactive activity of totalαandβin dry season were 0. 017 Bq/L,0. 069 Bq/L,respectively. They were 0. 042 Bq/L and 0. 066 Bq/L in rainy season. The radioactive activity of them is far lower than the limit in the national standard of"Standard for Drinking Water Quality"(GB 5749-2006). Therefore,the general radioactive activity of the water body of Yunnan is good.
