The Associated Application of the Spatial and Temporal Characteristics of CO in the Air Quality Forecast and Warning in Yunnan

  • The correlation between the spatial and temporal characteristics of CO and the air quality was carried out based on the monitoring data from the national air quality monitoring net from 2019 to the half year of 2020. The primary research on the feasibility of applying CO to early warn the air quality was conducted. The results showed that the spatial and temporal distribution between CO and air quality was significantly correlated. The relevancy degree between the concentration range of CO and the pollution level of air quality could reach above 70%, which would present a high application value of more accurately forecasting polluted air quality.
