Spatial and Temporal Distribution Patterns of Pollution Factors in the Water Environment and Evaluation of Water Quality of Shahu Lake

  • Based on the water quality data of Shahu Lake in 2020, the temporal and spatial distribution of its water environment pollution factors was analyzed, and the water quality index method and the Nemerow index method were used to comprehensively evaluate the water quality of the Shahu Lake, so as to provide a theoretical basis for the follow-up treatment of Shahu Lake. The results have shown that the water quality of Shahu Lake reached the class Ⅲ standard “Surface Water Environmental Quality Standard”(GB 3838—2002) from March to August. In November and later, except for the local water quality that deteriorated to the class Ⅳ standard, the rest still met the class Ⅲ standard; the concentrations of pollution factors at different points in the same batch existed. There was a certain difference; total nitrogen and total phosphorus were the main pollution factors that exceed the water quality standard. The results of the two water quality evaluation methods both showed that the water quality of Shahu Lake changed steadily from March to November 2020, and the lake was in a state of mild pollution.
