Adsorption performance of Slag and Its Application Test in the Purification of Rural Domestic Sewage

The conditions and effects of slag on the purification of rural domestic sewage were studied by adding slag or not,shaking treatment or not,under different temperatures（ 15℃,25℃ and 35℃）. The results showed that the TN,NH₃-N,TP and COD in sewage were reduced after the adsorption of slag without shaking treatment.The removal amount of TN,NH₃-N,TP and COD in sewage from slag increased with temperature. The removal rates of TN,NH₃-N,TP and COD in sewage by slag reached 4. 9%,63. 2%,94. 5% and 64. 7% respectively at 35℃. The removal rate of NH₃-N in sewage could effectively be improved to 90. 0% by the adsorption of slag with shaking treatment,while the removal rate of TN,TP and COD decreases somewhat.
