Survey on the Present Status of Water Quality and Protection Countermeasures of Daoshui River in Wuhan

  • The water quality status and the pollution load data of Daoshui River in Wuhan were collected and investigated in terms of the multiple times of water quality that could not meet the national water quality standard. The major pollution sources were agricultural non-point pollution and the lack of well-managed sewage treatment infrastructures and the shortage of water resources and the water degrading of up-stream. Therefore,the countermeasures were put forward accordingly to control the agricultural non-point pollution and urban pollution. Meanwhile,the connection project between lakes was proposed. The building of cooperating together mechanism and improving the pollution monitoring were suggested as well.
