Study on the Relationship between the Changes of Particle Concentration and Meteorological Condition in Kaiyuan City

  • The correlation between the changes of PM10 concentration and meteorological elements were analyzed using the data from January 1,2010 to December 31,2018. The results indicated that there was a significant correlation between the above time period and PM10 concentration. The concentration in the daytime is higher than in night. A double-peaks diagram was drawn in a whole day. The first peak appeared around 10 am in the morning,and the second peak occurred about 2 pm in the afternoon. Due to the rainfall that reduced the particle concentration in air,the variation of the peak and the valley became closer in summer than that in winter. The significant correlation between PM10 and meteorological elements was found. Pressure,wind speed,temperature,and relative humidity showed obvious impacts on the changes of PM10 Meanwhile,the correlation dramatically varied as seasons changed.
