Application and Research Progress of Vehicle Emission Models

Automobile exhaust is one of the main sources of the air pollution. A lot of research on emission models have been carried out by domestic and abroad researchers to explore the characteristics of vehicle emission,compilation emissions inventory in different spatial and evaluate effectiveness of the reduction measures,etc. This paper summarized the application of five widely used emission models,such as MOVES,COPERT,MOBILE,IVE,CEME,and compared the advantages and applied range of these models in terms of region,maturity and uncertainty. In addition,based on the research status,the future study in emission inventory in China was predicted.
