Determination of Ta in Soil and Sediment Samples in Mixed Acid Using Microwave Digestion Method by Inductively Coupled Plasma-Mass Spectrometry
-
Abstract
In this paper, soil samples were digested by microwave digestion instrument with a mixed acid system of hydrofluoric acid and hydrogen nitrate in order to acquire tantalum(Ta).Inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS) was then used to test Ta.The digestion conditions and parameters of ICP-MS were optimized and established. The detected limit of the method was 0.002 mg/kg.Besides,the determination results of certified standard samples were qualified. The relative standard deviations(RSDs) of soil samples were between 1.9~3.8% with a recoveries for standard spiked samples in the range of 91.0%-96.2%.This method could be applied for determination of Ta in soil because of its accuracy, high sensitivity and stability.
