Abstract: This article discussed the construction and planning methods of the ecological corridor from the perspective of ecological civilization by taking Dianchi Lake ecological corridor as an example. Based on the good ecological background and the demand for ecological protection and governance of Dianchi Lake, the current situation and development potential of the region were scientifically evaluated. Through the implementation of several projects, such as the ecological protection and restoration of the coastal wetlands, the river ecological corridor and the slow-moving system, the lakeside ecosystem around Dianchi Lake would be connected to form an ecological green vein, which could connect the natural ecosystem and urban ecosystem. The construction of the Dianchi Lake ecological corridor, firstly, could further consolidate the ecological protection and governance effect of Dianchi Lake,secondly, build an ecological protection barrier around Dianchi Lake with ecological, cultural and leisure functions, thirdly, promote the Co-Sharing-Co-Construction of Dianchi Lake protection and governance, and lastly, realize the mutual prosperity of the natural ecosystem of Dianchi Lake and the urban ecosystem of Kunming.
