Abstract:
TheDianchi Lake basin is the crucial area of water pollution prevention and control in China. In order to strengthen the management of rural water environment in the Dianchi Lake basin, combined with the existing domestic rural sewage discharge standards, this study discussed the formulation of pollutant discharge standards for rural domestic sewage treatment facilities in the Dianchi Lake basin through the investigation on the operation status of rural domestic sewage treatment facilities and the analysis of the effluent quality. The recommended standard would be applicable to the rural domestic sewage treatment facilities under 500m
3/d, and the discharge standard is divided into three levels according to the receiving water and the scale of sewage treatment, which takes pH, SS, COD, NH
3-N, TP and TN as the fundamental control indicators, and animal and vegetable oils as the selective control indicators. The proposed strictest discharge limits for each control indicator are as follows: pH value is at 6~9, SS 10mg/L, COD 30mg/L, NH
3-N 1.5(2.5) mg/L, TP 0.5mg/L, TN 15mg/L and animal and vegetable oils 1mg/L.
