Abstract:
Currently, the treatment of domestic sewage in the Dianchi Lake basin mainly takes a centralized approach, which purifies the sewage via sewage treatment plants after reaching national standards. However, this treatment method has some environmental risks, such as potential secondary pollution during treatment and issues with handling the sludge after treatment. To reduce environmental pollution in the Dianchi Lake basin, alleviate the contradiction brought by water tension, and promote local high-speed economic development, four patterns that is suitable for the resource utilization of domestic sewage in the Dianchi Lake basin, were elaborated upon and compared in terms of merits and demerits. Research on the resource utilization of domestic sewage in the basin not only provided guidance for the construction and planning of cities but also promoted the sustainable development of cities and improved the quality of the urban ecological environment.
