Abstract:
Based on ozone concentration and meteorological data collected in Yunnan Province from 2017 to 2023, the characteristics of ozone pollution across the province and the relationship between ozone concentrations and meteorological factors in selected cities were analyzed. The results indicate that: ①High ozone concentrations are primarily distributed in central Yunnan, northeastern Yunnan, and border cities. The seasonal variation of ozone pollution follows the order of spring > summer > winter > autumn. ②Ozone concentration exhibits a primarily positive correlation with temperature and wind speed, and a negative correlation with relative humidity. Furthermore, specific meteorological conditions prone to exceeding ozone standards were identified for different cities. Kunming is susceptible to ozone exceedances under conditions of temperatures ranging from 15 to 25 ℃, wind speeds of 1.0 to 4.0 m/s, relative humidity below 80%, and southwesterly winds. Zhaotong experiences exceedances with temperatures between 10 and 20 ℃, wind speeds of 1.0 to 3.0 m/s, relative humidity below 80%, and northerly winds. Qujing is vulnerable to high ozone levels when temperatures range from 15 to 25 ℃, wind speeds are between 1.0 and 4.0 m/s, relative humidity is below 70%, and southwesterly winds prevail. Xishuangbanna is prone to ozone exceedances under conditions of temperatures from 20 to 30 ℃, wind speeds of 0.5 to 2.5 m/s, relative humidity below 80%, and southerly winds.
