Abstract: This paper analyzed the status quo of the atmospheric environmental quality of Wuhai City,which reflected the significant improvement of the ambient air quality of Wuhai City in recent years.The drawing of contour maps to analyze and reflect the spatial and temporal change patterns of the concentration of major pollutants was done.The drawing of the rose diagram of pollution revealed and explored the direction of the source of the high concentration values of the atmospheric pollutants.It also has certain guiding significance for the management of atmospheric environment in Wuhai City and similar areas,and provides help for scientific pollution control.The high concentration values of particulate matter in four seasons mainly came from the south and north direction of Wuhai City;the high concentration values of gaseous pollutants （except O₃） mainly came from the south direction of Wuhai City.The high concentration value of O₃ mainly came from the south and north direction of Wuhai City.
