Abstract:
This study conducts a detailed analysis of the upgrading scheme for a chemical wastewater treatment station in Zhongshan City, with the objective of enhancing the treatment capacity of the existing facilities and ensuring that the effluent quality complies with more stringent discharge standards. The proposed upgrade focuses on resolving bottlenecks in the current system by introducing advanced technologies such as the Membrane Bioreactor(MBR) process and planning key operational parameters for the improved system. The upgraded facilities are expected to significantly enhance treatment efficiency and achieve higher water quality standards, particularly with respect to the removal performance of ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, COD, and suspended solids(SS). Overall, the implementation of the proposed scheme will reduce the environmental impact of chemical wastewater discharge and contribute to improved water environmental protection in the region.
