Abstract: The current situation of environmental health in Yunnan was summarized. The problems on monitoring and investigation, management system, institutional construction, and the capacity of scientific research of environment and health were analyzed. The structure of optimizing the preventing system were provided including zoning classification, cooperated management, highlighting key fields, perfecting the monitoring and early warning system and risk evaluation system.
