Abstract:
As denitrification process of electronic donor, carbon source is the main factors of denitrification process in artificial wetland. Six to eight mgs of COD were consumed while 1 mg of N was removed, normally. Because carbon source of artificial wetland mainly comes from influent, however, because the water soluble organic carbon concentration is very low, and almost difficult degradable organic carbon, therefore, using external carbon source to provide denitrifying electronic donor is needed. Considering HRT and removal rate, solid carbon source is used. Comparing different matching of common carbon source and the proportion of vinol, the matching of common carbon source and stable electronic donor was examined. Solid carbon source can get easily and the price is economic, which would deduce HRT and has a broad prospect of application.
