Abstract:
The Discharge Standard of Water Pollutants for Rural Domestic Sewage Treatment Facilities(DB53/T 953—2019) has been issued and implemented in Yunnan Province for 4 years. Pearson correlation was used to study the socio-economic factors affecting the construction of rural domestic sewage treatment facilities. Statistical analysis methods were used to study the trends in the application of different emission standards and the application characteristics of local emission standards at different levels. The results showed that the most important factors affecting the construction of sewage treatment facilities were the total GDP,urbanization rate, and population density. Local emission standard was increasingly being used, gradually replacing urban emission standard to guide the design and construction of sewage treatment facilities. The progress of rural domestic sewage treatment could be divided into three stages: initial treatment, accelerated treatment, and comprehensive treatment. In the initial treatment stage, the proportion of first level local emission standards being used by construction facilities was high. In the accelerated treatment stage, the proportion of third level local emission standards being used by construction facilities was high. In the comprehensive treatment stage, the proportion of facilities using different levels of emission standards was balanced. In recent years, the third level local emission standard had been used by 50.9% of treatment facilities in Yunnan Province, and the progress of rural domestic sewage treatment was in the accelerated treatment stage.
