数字经济对云南家庭消费碳排放的影响效应及减排机制

The Influence Effect of Digital Economy on Carbon Emissions from Household Consumption in Yunnan and the Mechanism of Emission Reduction

  • 摘要: 数字化低碳转型正成为我国实现“双碳”目标的重要路径。随着消费领域碳排放的持续上升,探究数字经济在该领域的减排机制具有重要意义。本文以云南省2006—2022年数据为研究对象,探讨数字经济对家庭消费碳排放的影响效应,并选取绿色技术创新作为机制变量,分析其减排路径。基准回归分析表明,数字经济与家庭消费碳排放之间存在显著的倒U型关系。机制检验发现,数字经济通过促进绿色技术创新,间接降低了家庭消费碳排放。研究结果可为云南省制定数字经济发展与碳减排协同政策提供参考。

     

    Abstract: Digital low-carbon transformation is becoming an important path for China to achieve its ‘dual carbon' goals. With the continuous rise of carbon emissions in the consumption sector, it is of great significance to explore the carbon emission reduction mechanism of the digital economy in this field. This study takes Yunnan Province from 2006 to 2022 as the research object to investigate the effect of the digital economy on carbon emissions from household consumption and selects green technology innovation as a mechanism variable to analyze its emission reduction path. The benchmark regression analysis shows a significant inverted U-shaped relationship between the digital economy and carbon emissions from household consumption. The mechanism test reveals that the digital economy indirectly reduces carbon emissions from household consumption by promoting green technology innovation. The research findings can provide a reference for Yunnan Province in formulating coordinated policies for digital economy development and carbon emission reduction.
