Abstract: Rural areas in Yunnan Province are dominated by mountainous and semi-mountainous areas. These villages are far away from the water body, do not have the conditions to connect to the urban sewage collection pipe network, and are short of water resources. Therefore, the resource utilization and treatment mode should be given priority to treat the sewage in rural areas. This paper proposed the countermeasures and suggestions for the utilization of rural domestic sewage in the mountainous and semi-mountainous areas of Yunnan Province in order to provide reference experience for the steady advancement of rural sewage treatment in Yunnan Province.
