Abstract:
There are more than 30 species of migratory birds in Dianchi Lake jointly protected by China and Australia, and it is likely to be one of the important resting sites for a variety of migratory birds on the East AsiaAustralia migration route, which is of great significance for the protection of migratory birds. The research on habitat selection of water birds is not only a necessary scientific reference for the protection of water birds, but also an important premise for the management and restoration of water bird habitat. The habitat selection of water birds is adapted to its own morphological characteristics and living habits. In this article, the morphological characteristics and natural habits of three kinds of water birds including anatidae, heron and shorebirds, were studied based on the investigation of water birds in Dianchi Lake, based on the analysis of the optimal habitat conditions for feeding, resting and breeding of the above three kinds of water birds, propound the strategies for habitat restoration and construction of water birds in the Dianchi Lake.
