Abstract:
In view of the high ammonia nitrogen concentration and substandard effluent of urban sewage treatment plants, the electrochemical oxidation method was used to test the low-concentration simulated ammonia nitrogen wastewater in this study. The effects of current intensity, initial pH value and initial Cl-concentration on the removal effect of ammonia nitrogen were investigated respectively. The results showed that when the initial pH value of the simulated water was 7.41, the concentration of NaCl was 3‰,and the electrolytic current was 8 A, the ammonia nitrogen could be completely removed in 1.5~2 h, and the energy consumption at this time was also low. This method could be used for the deep denitrification treatment of low-concentration wastewater, which would have good application prospects.
