Abstract: The emerging pyrolysis gasification technology has been utilized for rural domestic refuse treatment, significantly reducing its volume and quantity. However, this technology faced challenges in engineering practices, such as site selection, lack of relevant design and construction standards, and difficulties in operational management. This paper explored the issues encountered in the application of pyrolysis gasification technology for rural domestic refuse treatment through relevant engineering case studies,providing references and insights for similar projects.
